DAY 1: Singapore - Xiamen - Yongding

Assemble at Changi International Airport for your flight to Xiamen, the second biggest city in Fujian Province. Upon arrival, head for Yongding to visit a Fruit Farm and enjoy seasonal fruit picking. After check-in at the hotel we will have a DIY traditional Hakka cake activity. For tonight, we have arranged a dinner served with Tulou’s cuisine and an enjoyable Hakka folk performance.

DAY 2: Yongding - Meizhou

This morning, we will visit Chuxi Tulou. It has five large circular buildings and ten rectangular buildings. All the names of the buildings have the word, "Qing", meaning "celebration", which reflects the hospitable and cheerful nature of the Hakka people. Jiqinglou is the oldest round-shaped earth building in this area, it is almost 600 years old and covers a total area of 2826m2 with 206 rooms. Then head for Meizhou. Visit Hakka Museum, it is the first and largest museum dedicated to Hakka culture in China. Meizhou Round House, it is the typical and unique building of Hakka people. Round houses are a large and round-shaped living structure which many families can live in. It is originally designed for defensive purposes.

DAY 3: Meizhou - Chaozhou - Shantou

Today, we will continue our journey to Chaozhou. Visit the Chaozhou Ancient City Wall by tram, then proceed to the Kaiyuan Temple, which is a Buddhist center that embodies the quintessence of architectural art from various dynasties. Next visit Hanwen Gong Temple. Enjoy a brilliant view of Xiangzi Bridge and Guangji Gate. After lunch, we continue our journey to Shantou, we will visit Zhongshan Park and take a pleasant walk along the Huaqiao Village Walking St.. Dinner enjoy ChaoShan 18 Local Dishes.

DAY 4: Shantou - Xiamen

After breakfast, we will continue our journey to Xiamen and make a stop at Tianfu Chayuan to taste the Green Tea Pancake. Then enjoy the tea ceremony in the Tea House. After lunch, we will see us sightseeing Huandao Road and Guanyinshan seaside by coach. Next stop by the Kin Eliya Health Centre.

DAY 5: Xiamen

This morning, we will stop by a Silk Store. Then view Bailuzhou by coach before we visit the Kitchen Appliances store. After lunch we will go to the Laoyuanzi Folk Culture and Customs Garden where we can see the lives of ordinary fishermen and their families in southern Fujian, and listen to tales of their lives and endeavours of the many generations of Hokkien Chinese who migrated to Southeast Asia near the end of the Qing Dynasty. After experiencing history in action, we will transfer to hotel.

DAY 6: Xiamen - Kinmen - Xiamen

In the morning, we will take a ferry to Kinmen. Its rich warring culture is no doubt the island's main attraction, but Kinmen is striving to go beyond that. The Zhaishan tunnel used to be a key military base for Kinmen when Taiwan and the mainland were still at war. After that, we will visit The Grand De Yue Lou before visiting the Jin Shui Primary School. In its heydays, De Yue Lou was the grandest and tallest house in Kinmen. We will move on to the Kinmen National Park and see Rushan Park to pay a visit to the Zhongshan Memorial. Our next stop is at Juguang Tower, the symbol of Kinmen and a popular tourist spot. The tower is built in an imposing ancient Chinese style, and contains a cultural gallery. Two cannons in front of the tower represent the turbulent history of Kinmen. Then visit Gaoliang Wu; Kinmen Gong Tang store; Meesua store. Then return to Xiamen by ferry.

DAY 7: Xiamen

Today, we will explore the picturesque Gulangyu Island. This scenic area is renowned for its delicate natural beauty, its ancient relics, and its varied architecture. The island is on China's list of National Scenic Spots and also ranks at the top of the list of the ten most-scenic areas in Fujian Province. After lunch, coach to Zengcuoan Village which used to be a quiet fishing village on the south side of Xiamen. Today, Zengcuoan is a full-fledged tourist destination but the village still retains some of its rustic beauty. Then visit Gemstone Store. Guests will have their own dinner arrangements.

DAY 8: Xiamen - Singapore

After breakfast, you are free to spend some leisurely time by yourselves until your transfer to the international airport for flight back to Singapore. We hope you have enjoyed your vacation with CTC Travel.
