DAY 1: Singapore - Beijing - Hohhot

  • Assemble at Changi International Airport for your flight to Hohhot via Beijing, the capital city of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. The city’s name comes from the Mongolian word for “green city”. It is the region's political, economical, cultural, and transport centre. Proceed to visit Dazhao Lamasery, the only imperial temple in Inner Mongolia. Stroll along the SaishangOld Street beside the Lamasery.

DAY 2: Hohhot - Grassland

  • Proceed to the Grassland by coach. Upon arrival, watch a horse-riding performance and appreciate the art of Mongolian Wrestling. At lunchtime, the herdsman will welcome you with wine and "hada" and silver bowls.(*For groups arriving in July & August, you will enjoy the Nadamu Festival, a traditional festival celebrated by the Mongolian people). Then we will visit the herdsman's house to get a glimpse of their lives at the grassland, taste some milk tea, try horse-riding or lelecart & view the Aobao at own expenses. Aobao, meaning “a stone heap”, is used for sacrifice. After Ma Yan Feast for dinner at own expense , you will enjoy the wonderful performance of Mongolian folk songs and dances at the Campfire Party and look up at the beautiful and clear starry sky on the grassland. Stay overnight at Mongolian Yurts.

DAY 3: Grassland - Hohhot

  • View the fantastic sunrise at the grassland, and transfer to Hohhot after your Mongolian style breakfast. Visit the Inner Mongolian Museum, a regional museum in the city of Hohhot. After that, proceed to Zhaojun Museum in memorial of Wang Zhaojun, one of the four beauties in ancient China. Lastly, get to know more about the technological processes of making handicrafts in a MongolianHandicrafts Gallery.

DAY 4: Hohhot - Chilechuan - Dagi

  • The General Yamen located in Hohhot. It is a building with hundreds of years of history. Chilechuan Scenic Area, where you will take a boat ride to enjoy the beauty of Hasuhai, a natural lake. After that, visit Meidaizhao Lamasery, one of the most important centers for spreading Tibetan Buddhism in Inner Mongolia. It is more of a walled city than a lamasery. The architecture is a mixture of Central China style with Tibetan and Mongolian features

DAY 5: Daqi - Kubuqi Desert - Ordos

  • Singing Sand Ravine which is located on the northern fringe of the Ordos Kubuqi Desert in the Dalaid Banner. When people are sliding down the slope from the top, the sand under them produces a rumbling sound. Go sand-sliding in a boat-shaped device or ride a camel, take a small train & sand-surfing cart, watch Ordos Wedding Ceremony. You will be excited by the vast grassland and golden desert. Then continue on our journey to Ordos for a visit to the New Scenic Area of Mausoleum of Genghis Khan who was called the Proud Son of Heaven. It is located at the grassland of Ejen Khoruu Banner on the Ordos plateau. This Mausoleum is composed of three yurt-style buildings with glazed tiles. Genghis Khan was considered a true hero by the Mongolian people.

DAY 6: Ordos - Yinchuan

  • After breakfast, enjoy your coach journey to Yinchuan, the capital of Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, at the west of the Yellow River and to the east of Helan Mountain. Yinchuan is a multi-nationality city including Han, Hui and Mongolian peoples. Among them, the Hui people account for 26.3% of the total population and they have maintained the traditional folk customs and life style that are distinct from other ethnic groups. Upon arrival, proceed to visit the WesternXia Imperial Tomb, the so-called Pyramid of China.

DAY 7: Yinchuan

  • After breakfast, visit Zhenbeibu West Film Studio has a primitive, wild and desolate style, and is the place where classic films such as Zhang Yimou's career-launching Red Sorghum, New Dragon Inn and Talk on the Journey to the West were filmed at. After that, head to the Yinchuan Red Wolfberry Museum to know more about the Ningxia Goji berry. Next, proceed to visit the Rock Paintings on Helan Mountain (tram car included). The Shuidonggou Site is one of the earliest sites found in China belonging to the Paleolithic Age. This amazing historical site is like a theme park with tram cart ride & donkey-drawn cart for you to experience.

DAY 8: Yinchuan - Singapore
