DAY 1: Singapore - Hanoi

Assemble at Singapore Changi Airport and fly to Hanoi, is the capital of Vietnam and the country’s second largest city. Upon arrival, meet & greet by local representative and then transfer to have lunch. After that visit the beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake - the most beautiful lake in Hanoi before enjoy a performance of the famous water puppet show. The Vietnamese traditional art of water puppetry has roots that date back to the 10th century when it originated in the Red River Delta area of northern Vietnam. The farmers in the region celebrated festivals and harvests by performing this unique art form. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

DAY 2: Hanoi - Halong Bay

This morning you will explore Hanoi city to visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum and his former residence with Humble House on Stilts, One-Pillar Pagoda and the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam and built more than 1,000 years ago. After lunch you will drive through the countryside from Hanoi to Halong Bay – a World Heritage Area of outstanding natural beauty, you will experience a rural area dotted with villages, rice fields and farms providing the many parts of the nation with rice, fruits and vegetables. Upon arrival check in the hotel and free at your own leisure until sumptuous dinner.

DAY 3: Halong Bay - Hanoi

In the early morning after breakfast in the hotel, you will be transferred to the port. Embark and start a relaxing in a wonderful cruise through Halong Bay, passing bizarre rock formations. You will discover Halong Bay, listed as a World Heritage of outstanding natural beauty, known in Vietnamese as “Dragon descending to the sea“. The picturesque Halong Bay has more than 3,000 limestone islets rising from the clear emerald water, many of them containing beautiful grottoes. You will visit Thien Cung situated on the south-west side of the bay, 4 km from the wharf outside of Halong City. The way to Thien Cung grotto (Heavenly Cave) is covered on both sides by thick forest. After entering narrow gate, the grotto’s 130-meter-long girth opens up. Getting in you will be more astonished in front of the very animated and splendid beauty which is made from the stalactites. On the east wall of the grotto, there is a grandiose and imposing picture with characters of tales. Going out of the Thien Cung grotto, you will have a sensation of just watching a unique, meticulous, interesting fine-art museum which is made by nature. This grotto is one of the most beautiful ones in Halong Bay. During the boat trip fresh seafood lunch will be served for your delights. Disembark and transfer back to Hanoi you will explore the famous Hanoi old quarter on 36 streets (one-hour tri shaw tour) & enjoy your shopping.

DAY 4: Hanoi - Sapa - Ta Phin - Cat Cat Village

Breakfast at hotel then taking coach to Sapa and proceeding to Ta Phin Village – Set within the valley with a towering mountain peak on the other end, this village is bustling with the daily life of the Kinh, Red Dzao and Black Hmong. After lunch, check into your hotel and have a short rest time before heading off to Cat Cat hill tribe village, trekking up and down hill through the forest and along the terraced rice fields. As we walk through the village nestled in the valley we will meet some of the local minority to and from Sapa, meantime enjoying the beautiful landscape contrast. Thereafter journey up terraced hillsides to Sapa, a former French hill resort and home to some Vietnam’s most vibrant and ethnic groups. Overnight in Sapa.

DAY 5: Sapa - Tavan - Lao Cai - Hanoi

Breakfast at hotel then embark on a lovely walking tour that will take you along buffalo paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Cai Province, especially Ta Van home to the Black H’mong and Dzay people. This is an absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Once on the valley floor you can really appreciate the wonderful scenery surrounding you. The walls of the valley are covered with multi-layered rice terraced fields. Return to Hanoi to have Gala Dinner at hotel. Overnight in Hanoi

DAY 6: Hanoi - Singapore
