We just returned from our 8D South New Zealand trip from 5-12 Sep 2016. On behalf of my family of 5, we would like to give a huge thumbs and thanks to our dedicated tour leader/guide, Don Yeo.
Service is more personal and communication is more localised. Don was funny, very dedicated, and obviously passionate about his work - engaging us with fun facts about NZ, his travels to NZ/ other countries, games and more.
We especially loved that he made the point to go the extra mile - going door to door to check that everything is working fine in our hotels each time we moved; giving us heads up on where to position ourselves on the ship/train/farm for the best views of what's happening; giving us additional stops beyond the itinerary (i.e. supermarket stops and scenic points); and finally, making sure our additional activities were carried out so smoothly.
Well, keep up the great work, Don! We had a great holiday! :)
