Itinerary

Day 1 Singapore - Shanghai –Suzhou (FLIGHT)
Assemble at Singapore Changi International Airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, experience the world’s first commercialized operation line – Shanghai Maglev. After that, coach to Suzhou, where the gardens have been listed in the World Cultural Heritages. Wangshi Garden is a good example of the intricacies of Suzhou Garden artistry. Next stop at Hanshan Temple, used to be one of the ten most famous temples in China. It is said that listening to the bell tolling in Chinese New Year Eve will bring you the luck and happiness. After your visit at Qili Santang Historical and Cultural Street, proceed to Panmen Gate which is the best-preserved land and water gate in China. As old as the city itself, its image has become a symbol of Suzhou. Panmen Gate, the Ruiguang Pagoda and Wumen Bridge are known as three beautiful sights (Panmen Sanjing).

Day 2 Suzhou- Xitang WaterTown- Hangzhou (COACH)
Suzhou Silk Factory is also not to be missed, where you can buy some famous Suzhou silk product. Next continue coach journey to Xi Tang. As one of the water counties in Yangtze River Delta, Xi Tang displays its thousand-year history in its ancient stone bridges floating on mild water, its stone pathways between the mottled walls and its delicate wood carvings. The famous movie which actor by Hollywood movie star Tom Cruise was takes film at here too. There after head for Hangzhou. Upon arrival, visit the Xihu New World and Park of Orioles Singing.

Day 3 Hangzhou - Nanjing (COACH)
Marco Polo called Hangzhou the most enchanting city in the world. However, Hangzhou is not possibly mentioned without West Lake. Enjoy cruise tour on the West lake, which is a like a shining pearl inlaid on the vast land of China, reputed for beautiful scenery, a multitude of historical sites and brilliant culture relics, and a profusion of native products. Legend has it that the West Lake was a heavenly jewel fallen to earth. Viewing Fish at Flora Harbour is one of the ten most beautiful views at Westlake. Take a view of Leifeng Pagoda from Long Bridge Park. This bridge is also famous for the legend of Liang Shanbo and Zhu Yingtai. Also visit Longjing Tea Plantation. In late afternoon, transfer you to Nanjing by coach.

Day 4 Nanjing - Wuxi (COACH)
After breakfast, visit Nanjing Yangtze River Bridge, the symbol of Chinese independence and national pride. Next, proceed to Nanjing Massacre Memorial Hall. Also visit Xuanwu Lake before we make a stop at the jade-carvings and crystal manufacture & exhibition Centre. Lastly enjoy your free leisure at Fuzimiao District for shopping and gourmet hunting. This afternoon, drive on to Wuxi for a visit to Lihu Lake Scenic Area. Lihu Lake is a bay of Taihu Lake. It is named after the legend of Fanli and Xishi (one of the four beauties in ancient China). You will also visit the Zisha Arts Gallery where you will learn how the best quality of Zisha teapots is made.

Day 5 Wuxi - Shanghai (COACH)
Morning continue your Wuxi tour with a visit to Taihu Film and TV Studio. Founded by China Central Television Station in 1987, it is the earliest movie and TV program production base in China. Next you will have chance to see fresh-water Pearl Cultivating Farm. In the afternoon, we move on to Shanghai. Visit the world famous waterfront-The Bund. It was once part of the foreign concession and out-of-bounds to locals. The Bund is Shanghai's financial hub, also known as "Wall Street of the Far East". Then visit the newly-opened Madame Tussauds. You will see the famous figures in various fields from China and other foreign countries. You can also take a close view of them and take pictures with them, which will certainly leave you wonderful impression after the visit. Thereafter, take a pleasant walk along the “No. 1 Road in China”-Nanjing Road. Lastly make a stop at Relaxing & Healthy Care Centre.

Day 6 Shanghai (COACH)
After breakfast, you will ascend up to the 101 storey Shanghai World Financial Centre. The skyscraper’s roof height is set at 492m, and has temporarily claimed the highest roof in the world. On top the 100 storey of this tower which is the most attractive skyscraper in China, you can overlook the fantastic view of the whole Shanghai city. After that, visit Chenghuangmiao, one of the main shopping areas in Shanghai. It’s also the places which to show how developed this international capital city is. Thereafter, proceed to Taobaocheng Market where the most fashionable clothe and other wholesale commodities are sold. Also you will visit Pixiu Shop.

Day 7 Shanghai [full day visit The World EXPO Site]
After breakfast, visit The World EXPO 2010 Shanghai. On May 1, 2010, the 41st World Expo will be solemnly inaugurated in Shanghai. It will be the second global event that the Chinese people are welcoming in the new century. There will be an expected number of 200 participating countries and international organizations and 70 million visitors. We will visit EXPO Boulevard, China Pavilion and Singapore Pavilion. EXPO Boulevard is the largest stand-alone structure within the Expo Site. The Expo Boulevard will be the center of human traffic flow and sightseeing in the Expo Site during Expo Shanghai. After the Expo it will remain as a central sight of the city. The China Pavilion is designed to showcase an ‘Exploration of the Orient’. Taking an Eastern viewpoint and with its focus on exploration, the design will follow the traditional Chinese philosophy of ‘unification of man and heaven’ and pursue the ideal of ‘harmonious co-existence’. The Singapore Pavilion resembles a musical box and was inspired by the harmony of unique elements in Singapore; progress and sustainability, urbanization and greenery, tradition and modernity and a cosmopolitan mix of residents of different races living peacefully together. After that you can visit other pavilions, for example world Expo Center or Theme pavilions etc. Lunch and dinner will arrange by own.

Day 8 Shanghai - Singapore (FLIGHT )

Assemble at Changi Airport for your flight to Shanghai. Upon arrival, transfer to hotel.

Day2 – Day 9 same as “8 Days (SHS2)” tour.


Dates of visit to the Expo site will be from 1st May 2010- 31st October 2010. The 7th day for tour groups travelling outside the periods stated above will be free and easy. Tourists are to settle their own lunch and dinner.
