一）Chengdu city of Sichuan province general background
       四川省成都市旅游资源概况

Sichuan - abbreviated as Chuan（川）- is located in the Southwest region and is known as the "Land of Abundance"（天府之國）. The living beings and resource are various in styles. The giant panda of national treasure 80% distributes in Sichuan Province. Sichuan is known as the 'Land of Abundance' and has three places on the World Cultural and Natural Heritage List: Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area, Huang Long Valley (Yellow Dragon Valley) and Mount Emeishan including Leshan Giant Buddha. The are national-level geology park list Jin Sha Excavation Site, Sunan Bamboo sea, Hailuogou, Wolong Giant panda’s nature reserve. Mt. Siguniang, Zigong Dinosaur’s museum.

The province's capital is Chengdu（成都）which enjoys the same preferential policies as a coastal open city. It is a city of historical culture. Several famous historical sites in the urban district include:

Wangjianglou Park: It’s a historic site in memory of Xue Tao, a female poet of the Tang Dynasty as well as a famous scenic spot.

Luodai Ancient town: It’s the first Hakka town in West Sichuan, 90% residents here is Hakka.

Jinli Culture Street: Being well preserved with Chinese folk residential culture, this place reflects the lives of people in early China. Traditional practices on the Street bring you back to the old days in China when you will sink into reminiscence

Wuhou Memorial Temple (Wuhou Ci) : It is dedicated to Zhuge Liang, the Martial Marquis of Shu in the Three Kingdoms.

Du Fu Cao Tang (Thatched Cottage of Du Fu) : It is museum in honour of Tang dynasty poet Du Fu at the western outskirts of Chengdu, adjacent to the Huanhua Xi, (Flower Rinsing Creek). In 1961, the Chinese government established Du Fu Cao Tang as a National Heritage site.

Wenshu Monastery ： located at No. 15 Wenshu Yuan Street, Chengu, Sichuan Province, is the best-preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. It is the home of the Buddhist Association of Sichuan Province and Chengdu City. In addition to its cultural relics, Wenshu Monastery is famous for its exquisite garden and solemn halls. Tourists and locals can enjoy tea in the Tea House while listening to music by folk artists.

二）Jiuzhaigou Scenic Area 人间仙境九寨沟风景

Jiuzhaigou enjoys worldwide fame for its astonishing scenery. Located in the Aba Tibetan and Qiang Autonomous Region, Sichuan Province, Jiuzhaigou is a valley that stretches for more than 40 kilometers at the foot of the snow-capped Minshan Mountain. More than 100 lakes of different sizes are scattered in the valley. These lakes with brilliant colors are called "haizi" by the local Tibetan people, which means the sea. It is these alpine lakes that make Jiuzhaigou a fantastic place. Disposed in a stepped-like fashion in the valley, the lakes are always connected with waterfalls. Between the primeval forests and the lakes, there are nine villages of Tibetan people, and the name Jiuzhaigou means Nine Village Valley.

三）Mt. Emei 峨眉山风景区：

Mt. Emei is located in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is towering, beautiful, old and mysterious. Mt. Emei is like a huge green screen standing in the southwest of the Chengdu Plain. the Golden Summit, is 3079.3 meters (10,103 feet) above the sea level, seemingly reaching the sky. Standing on the top of it, you can enjoy the snowy mountains in the west and the vast plain in the east. In addition in Golden Summit there are four spectacles: clouds sea, sunrise, Buddha rays and saint lamps. In 1996 Mt. Emei was enlisted in the world natural and cultural heritage by the UNESCO. The snow scenery on Mt. Emeishan is very attractive as winter arrives. Unlike on other mountains,in winter the trees on Mt. Emeishan remain green. That's the highlight! Another highlight must be Mt. Emei Ski Resort (Leidongping Ice -skating Recreation Site) which is located at the ropeway area under the golden summit.

四）Hailuogou National Glacier Forest Park 海螺沟风景区：

Mt. Emei is located in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is towering, beautiful, old and mysterious. Mt. Emei Located in the Gongga Mountains in western Sichuan, Hailuo Gou is the biggest glacier park in China. The Gongga mountains is regarded as holy and pure mountains by local people. It extends for 30.7 kilometers, and has many geologic features, land forms, rare animals and plants. there are endless ice holes, ice lakes, ice
mushrooms, ice doors and ice steps which make up a wonderful ice world.
